About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with hands-on AI/Generative AI experience to join our technology team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills in Python and practical experience building or integrating AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Develop and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI solutions into applications.
- Work with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Integrate AI/LLM APIs into enterprise applications.
- Develop data processing and AI/ML pipelines.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Deploy applications using cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python, OOP, data structures, and API development.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Practical experience with AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Good understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and embeddings.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Good understanding of Git and software development practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of MLOps or deploying AI/ML models.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
