Python Developer (AWS)

We are seeking a Python Developer (AWS) to keep cloud systems stable, resolve production issues and deliver small enhancements on an AWS Lambda-based platform. You will work in a Scrum team supporting migration activities and improving reliability across AWS services in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Python services running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Lambda
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver sustainable fixes
• Support migration-related activities and stabilize systems during change
• Deliver small features and enhancements from definition to release
• Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Partner with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and explain technical topics in plain language
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing and documentation
• Monitor service health and support continuous improvement of reliability and performance

Requirements

• Proven experience with Python development in production environments
• Strong independent coding capability. While we encourage using AI tools for productivity, you must be able to write, evaluate and troubleshoot code autonomously rather than relying on AI to generate solutions
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless services such as AWS Lambda
• Background in building and supporting APIs and integrating with cloud services
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot live issues and perform root cause analysis
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and delivering in short iterations
• Clear communication in English for client-facing collaboration
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Connect
• Familiarity with observability practices including logging, monitoring and alerting
• Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives
