Dellent is hiring a senior Python Lead Developer (9+ years) for a hybrid role in Porto, working on a project for an investment banking and financial-services client's tech hub in Portugal. The day-to-day centers on Python and Django backend development with TDD, DevOps/CI-CD, refactoring, and collaborative agile practices.
This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.
We are looking for a Python Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer, with a strong focus on Python;
- More than 9 years of experience;
- Experience with agile methodologies and team collaboration practices;
- Proficiency in Django for backend development;
- In-depth knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD);
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools and methodologies;
- Expertise in refactoring, simple design and clean architecture principles;
- Foster collaboration through pair programming, daily stand-ups, code reviews, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Good level of English Language.
