Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in AWS.
- Build and enhance APIs and microservices using Node.js and/or Python.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and application layers.
- Contribute to IoT platform development and connected device integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, and best practices.
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Must-Have Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, and EKS.
- Solid development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT platforms, AWS IoT Core, MQTT, or connected device ecosystems.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
