Python Developer [For ASAP Joiners]

• Hybrid: 2x to 3x onsite per week in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications and data processing scripts.
• Integrate Python solutions with AWS services such as Amazon S3 and OpenSearch.
• Develop integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs) for AI-powered applications.
• Work with Vector Databases and PostgreSQL to manage and retrieve application data.
• Optimize application performance and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development, particularly developing backend and/or data-driven applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with Python for application development, automation, and data processing.
• Strong experience integrating Python applications with AWS services, particularly Amazon S3.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Vector Databases or vector search technologies used for AI-enabled applications.
• Experience integrating applications with LLMs / Large Language Models and AI-powered services.
• Experience with OpenSearch or similar search and indexing technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend development, and application integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing application performance.
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile/software development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to code quality and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
