Python Developer Lead

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications.
• Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to design robust and scalable software.
• Must have experience in SDLC.
• Hands on experience on NumPy, Pandas is a must.
• Write efficient SQL queries to interact with databases and perform data manipulation.
• Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, particularly Pandas and NumPy, to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Utilize Git for version control and Jira for project management to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Keen interest in learning and working with Pandas and NumPy.
• Understanding of Git for version control and Jira for project management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
• 10+ s years’ experience in application development and automation, preferably in Life Insurance but not mandatory
