Python Developer with DevOps

Location: Navi Mumbai
Working Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays

Must-Have Skills

• Total 6+ years of experience, including 4+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python development
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Pandas.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices.
• Practical experience with Docker containerization.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining Python-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications.
• Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Design and implement high-performance and responsive software solutions.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and release activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for application deployment.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and production-related issues.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
• Follow coding standards, Git practices, and industry best practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Good knowledge of Linux and system administration.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure.
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience in application deployment and production support.

Good-to-Have Domain and Technical Experience

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry (OTel).
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Prior experience working on Banking or Financial Services projects.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on Java development experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, monitoring, logging, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
