Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer with strong backend development, system design, and cloud experience. This role will be responsible for developing backend services and working closely with AI engineers to transform AI models and research outcomes into reliable, maintainable, observable, and production-ready products.

## Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and business features using Python.
• Participate in system architecture and technical solution design, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and operational costs.
• Collaborate with AI, data, and product teams to integrate AI models and capabilities into production products.
• Productize AI engineers’ PoCs and research outcomes, including API design, inference services, data pipelines, error handling, testing, and deployment.
• Build monitoring, logging, alerting, version management, and incident-tracking mechanisms.
• Establish and improve CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, reliability, and cloud costs.
• Write system design documents, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in production incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.

## Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, or backend systems.
• Strong system design skills, including service decomposition, database design, asynchronous processing, queues, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud development or deployment; GCP experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with automated testing and a strong focus on code quality and maintainability.
• Ability to collaborate with AI engineers and turn research outcomes into reliable production services.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
