Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications and backend services
- Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and integrations
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Work with relational databases and optimise queries for performance and scalability
- Participate in testing, code reviews, and Agile development processes
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: Relevant Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of Python development experience
- Experience with backend development and web applications
- Exposure to Agile development environments
- Technical Skills:
- Python programming
- Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- REST API development and integration
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
- Git version control
- Advantageous:
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
