Python Developer
Summary
Builds and maintains Python-based REST APIs with FastAPI, Docker, and AWS, focusing on secure banking/fintech systems and real-time data pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.(non-negotiable)
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development. (non-negotiable)
Experience working in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry is highly preferred.
Strong experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI. (non-negotiable)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, API versioning, and exception/error handling. (non-negotiable)
Hands-on experience with:
Docker (non-negotiable)
Docker Compose (multi-container environments) (non-negotiable)
Experience working in enterprise software development environments, including:
AWS (non-negotiable)
CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy)(non-negotiable)
Coding standards and secure development practices (non-negotiable)
Version control using Bitbucket (non-negotiable)
Code review processes
Strong experience of relational and NoSQL databases:
PostgreSQL
MongoDB+Kafka or any alternative implementation for a near real-time data pipeline/streaming for large data sets.
Basic to intermediate AWS knowledge (certification not required)
CI/CD and Test-driven Development
Intermediate SQL background (MySQL, Postgre, Redshift)
