Job Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, relational databases, and preferably AWS. Python is the primary requirement, while candidates do not need to have all the technologies listed below.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, efficient, and well-documented applications using modern coding practices and design patterns.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, QA, and other team members to deliver robust solutions.

• Develop unit, integration, and functional tests and troubleshoot production or QA issues.

• Work on complex technical problems and contribute to technology, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Follow Agile methodologies, TDD, SDLC, and applicable company standards.

Required / Preferred Skills

• Strong Python development experience

• SQL

• Relational databases: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

• AWS experience, preferably with:

  • Lambda

  • S3

  • Glue

  • Step Functions

  • CloudFormation

  • CloudWatch

  • EventBridge

• Experience with enterprise-grade application development.

• Agile development and TDD experience.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• Flask, Django, React, Node.js, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript

• REST APIs, JSON, Microservices, SOA

• NoSQL / Relational databases

• DevOps, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins

• Automated testing and DevSecOps

• DDD and architecture patterns

• AWS cloud-native development

• Financial/Insurance industry experience – Must

• Experience with agentic frameworks and AI-driven development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) – Must
