Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python Engineer responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications using Python. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming, and the ability to work with data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

The role involves application development, database interactions, writing efficient SQL queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.

- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices.

- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build scalable and modular applications.

- Develop and maintain application components, scripts, and automation solutions using Python.

- Work with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation, processing, and analysis.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for database operations and data retrieval.

- Integrate Python applications with databases and external systems.

- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Use Git for version control and collaborate through Jira for task and project tracking.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Pandas and NumPy.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database operations.

- Understanding of application development and software engineering principles.

- Experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Knowledge of debugging, testing, and troubleshooting Python applications.

- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

- Understanding of software development methodologies and coding standards.

- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization concepts.

- Experience with Python-based automation and scripting.

- Exposure to application performance optimization.

- Knowledge of database management systems.

- Familiarity with Jira and Agile development methodologies.

- Exposure to cloud-based application development environments.
