Python Full Stack Developer
Summary
A 12-month hybrid contract role in Newark, NJ for a Python full stack developer. Day to day involves building backend services and RESTful APIs/microservices, ensuring code quality with unit and integration testing, and deploying on AWS using Docker, ECS/EKS, and CI/CD pipelines with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

- Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality
- Ensure that software standards, non-functional requirements and quality targets are met
- Solid backend development experience using Java/Python and RESTful API design.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda) .
- Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling)
- Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization
