Job Description
Experience: 6–8 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python / SQL Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python programming, SQL, ETL, Unix/Linux commands, and Git. The candidate should be comfortable working on automation, data validation, scripting, ETL, and application testing/engineering activities.
Mandatory Skills
- Python: Strong hands-on programming experience with Python; ability to develop scripts, utilities, and automation solutions.
- SQL: Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation.
- ETL: Strong hands-on experience in ETL, including developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL processes and workflows.
- Unix/Linux: Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
- Git: Hands-on experience with Git for source code management, branching, merging, pull requests, and code collaboration.
Good to Have
- Robot Framework: Experience in developing and maintaining automation test cases using Robot Framework.
- Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools would be an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and automation solutions.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes and workflows.
- Perform Unix/Linux-based operational activities.
- Maintain code using Git and follow standard branching and code review practices.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, where applicable.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation and development practices."
