I'm working with an elite quantitative trading firm looking for exceptional Python Engineers to build sophisticated, high-performance technology at the heart of its investment operations.

The role

Build high-performance Python systems

Develop sophisticated backend applications which are at the core of the global trading environment.

Work with complex financial datasets, optimising performance, scalability and reliability across business-critical systems.

Get close to the front office

Collaborate with quantitative and investment teams, building technology key to trading activity.

Influence architecture, drive technical decisions and take projects from concept through to production, without endless layers of bureaucracy.

Who we’re looking for

• 4+ years of strong Python development experience, ideally within an investment bank, hedge fund or trading firm.
• Excellent backend engineering fundamentals, with experience building complex, production-grade systems.
• Good understanding of financial markets and traded products (Equities, FX, Credit, Rates etc.).
• Engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems, care about performance and want greater exposure to the investment side of the business.
