QA Automation Engineer (Cypress & Playwright)
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, API, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using Playwright and Cypress.
Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
Validate APIs and data accuracy using Postman and database queries.
Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes.
Maintain detailed test documentation, test cases, and test execution reports using TestRail or equivalent tools.
Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience in Software QA/Testing with strong Automation Testing skills.
Proficient in developing and maintaining test automation scripts using Playwright and/or Cypress.
Strong knowledge of web, mobile, API, functional, and regression testing.
Experience with API testing using Postman and data validation through SQL/database queries.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Skilled in Jira, TestRail, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, and database/SQL queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to software quality.
Contract Period: 1 year contract
