QA Automation Engineer focused on data engineering: designing and running automated tests for Data Warehouse solutions, validating data pipelines and transformations in Snowflake using SQL and dbt, on a project for a Nordic financial services client. Hybrid work from Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź; B2B rate 1000–1200 PLN/day.
Salary: 1000 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B
Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project
Responsibilities you'll have
- Design, execute, and maintain automated tests for Data Warehouse solutions
- Validate complex data pipelines and data transformations within Snowflake
- Perform data quality, integrity, and reconciliation testing
- Develop and maintain automated data validation frameworks
- Execute SQL-based testing and verification of large datasets
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholdersIdentify, document, and track defects
- Support release activities and ensure high-quality deliveries
- Analyze testing results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity
Expected competences and knowledge
- Proven experience in QA Automation Testing
- Strong experience in Data Warehouse Testing
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience working within AWS environments
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and testing large datasets
- Experience with dbt testing
- Understanding of data pipeline validation and ETL/ELT testing
- Knowledge of Snowflake features including:
- Time Travel
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Performance Scaling
