QA automation engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team and drive software quality, test automation, and continuous delivery for cloud-based SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, automate, and execute comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and use case scenarios.

Participate in early stages of the software development lifecycle, establishing test infrastructure and supporting integration testing.

Define and improve SaaS and Cloud testing strategies within a continuous delivery environment.

Develop and maintain automated tests for acceptance, functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.

Evaluate test coverage, identify gaps, and enhance automation frameworks, testing tools, and methodologies.

Collaborate with product and development teams to promote software quality and best practices.

Mentor junior QA engineers and continuously explore new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements:

4–6 years of experience in Software Engineering, QA/QE, or Test Automation for enterprise SaaS applications running in the Cloud.

Strong experience in test automation, API testing, system testing, performance, scalability, and regression testing.

Knowledge of API and microservices architecture, distributed systems, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and networking.

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium/WebDriver, JUnit, JMeter, Jenkins, Postman, and/or SoapUI.

Programming or scripting proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, C++, TCL, Perl, and/or Shell scripting.

Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, BDD/TDD, and continuous integration and delivery.

Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration is a plus.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, and Jira.
