The role
Are you passionate about finding bugs before they reach production and ensuring that data is reliable? As a QA Tester specializing in Backend and Data Testing.
Which technologies and tools will you work with?
- Data Testing: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Parquet and Delta Lake.
- Test automation: Java, Selenium and Cucumber.
- API Testing: Rest Assured and Postman.
- Databases: SQL and data validation.
- Test and defect management: Jira and Xray.
- Development and deployment environment: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Experience in QA Testing or test development for backend applications.
- Hands-on experience testing data pipelines and transformations in Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of Parquet, Delta Lake, and data validation.
- Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Experience testing REST APIs with Rest Assured and Postman.
- SQL knowledge for querying, comparing, and validating data.
- Experience working with Jira and Xray.
- Analytical capacity to investigate errors, identify causes, and propose solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team within Agile environments.
