Summary
We are hiring a QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience for a Baggage Management System project. The primary goal is to ensure the quality and performance of aviation applications through thorough testing and collaboration with teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
Perform manual testing, including functional, API, integration, and database testing.
Validate system functionality through REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
Conduct SQL and PL/SQL-based database validation and data verification.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure all deliverables meet business and technical requirements while maintaining quality standards.
Support test execution for complex operational systems related to airport and airline operations.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
Experience with API testing using Postman and SOAP UI.
Working knowledge of SQL and basic PL/SQL for database testing and validation.
Experience with defect tracking and test management practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
