QA Engineer (Manual and Automation Testing)

Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 5,900 per month

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

• Perform manual testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

• Execute test plans and ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines.

• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.

• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential usability and functionality concerns.

• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Support production releases and post-deployment validation activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in manual software testing.

• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Good knowledge of web, mobile, and API testing concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
