QA Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for validating embedded software through manual and automated testing, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality releases. Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and Xray.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Analyze logs and test results to identify root causes.

• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and validate solutions.

• Ensure overall quality of assigned features and software releases.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation.

Required Skills Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.

• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python, C, or C++.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Working knowledge of Linux command line.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
