Description

QA Engineer - RentOk (EazyApp Tech Pvt Ltd)

Location: On-site, Sector 27, Gurugram

Experience: 2-4 years hands-on QA (1.5 years minimum with an exceptional profile)

About RentOk

RentOk is a property management and rent payments SaaS - a production financial system handling rent collection across 7 payment gateways for thousands of properties. A QA miss here is money moving wrong, not a cosmetic bug.

The role

You will work alongside Devendra (existing QA) covering backend APIs (Node.js/TypeScript REST), PostgreSQL data correctness, the Next.js/React web dashboard, and the Flutter mobile apps (tenant + landlord). Payment flows span Cashfree, Easebuzz, PayU, and RazorpayX, plus WhatsApp and notification flows.

What you will do

  • Own test design and regression for money-moving flows: payments, webhooks/callbacks, refunds, partial and failed payments, reconciliation

  • Test REST APIs directly (Postman/Bruno) and verify data in PostgreSQL with raw SQL- Build and maintain automation where it pays off (Playwright/Cypress for web, Appium for mobile), wired into CI (GitHub Actions)

  • Exploratory testing across the web dashboard and Flutter apps, including real-device and crash triage (Crashlytics/Sentry)

  • Write reproducible bug reports and own release sign-off

What we are looking for

  • 2-4 years hands-on QA on a live product with real users

  • API-level testing beyond the UI, with real SQL verification habits

  • Payments/transactional domain exposure (gateways, webhooks, refunds, reconciliation) strongly preferred

  • Small-team ownership mindset: you find bugs, not just run suites

Interview loop: Intro call -> R1 Test Design with Devendra (live: design a test matrix for a rent-payment webhook) -> R2 Backend/API round -> Culture round.
