Reviews construction documents, performs quantity take-offs, and manages procurement for curtain wall systems in building projects.
Job Description & Requirements
- Reviews tender documents including drawing and business documents to understand project details and curtain wall technical requirements
- Quantity take-off and calculate curtain wall system for each project
- Indicate the curtain wall contract work scope on the floor plan, elevation and curtain wall detail drawings
- Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
- Evaluate of quotation and costing summary for approval prior tender submission
- Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedule
- Ensure submission of bonds / warranties from sub-contractors
- Prepare report of cost summary
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
