QA/QC Engineer - Joinery Factory
Responsibilities
- Verify the quality of incoming raw materials, hardware, boards, and accessories as per specifications.
- Monitor ongoing production activities to ensure adherence to design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct final checks on finished products before dispatch, ensuring conformance to client requirements and project specifications.
- Identify, tag, segregate, and document non-conforming products. Initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Report any product deviations or process issues promptly to the Production Manager and QHSE Manager.
- Raise internal observations and non-conformance reports (NCRs) for product or process deviations.
- Analyze recurring issues and collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements that enhance product quality.
- Maintain and update ISO 9001:2015 related documentation, inspection records, and
- Ensure documentation and process adherence related to FSC Chain of Custody and QPlus certification requirements for Fire Rated Doors.
- Investigate the root cause of product rejections and take necessary actions to avoid recurrence.
- Lead and guide a team of Quality Inspectors. Ensure they follow standard inspection procedures and uphold quality standards.
- Review customers complaints and ensure closure of complaints
- Attend planning /coordination meetings to address the issues related to quality of product requirements
- Prepare and submit handing over documents
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Diploma / Joinery Factory Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years in a Joinery/Interior Fit-Out Factory
