QA/QC engineer
NewBe an early applicantKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA/QC site team, covering the full scope of QA and QC functions for assigned projects
- Establish and implement project-specific QA/QC systems in accordance with approved quality plans
- Prepare and submit QA/QC documentation for new projects
- Monitor continuous improvement initiatives to ensure QA objectives are achieved
- Oversee and execute daily inspection, testing activities, and related documentation
- Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) to meet client requirements
- Review and approve quality procedures submitted by clients and suppliers
- Manage non-conformance reports, defects, and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with relevant departments
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors on QA/QC issues and attend relevant meetings
- Review and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Manage WPS, PQRs, and welder qualification tests; ensure compliance with international codes and standards
- Review Mill Certificates, Tank Construction, and Piping Test Packages
- Approve FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) reports from third-party inspectors and circulate accordingly
- Liaise with classification bodies (AME, ABS, DNV, BV, API, etc.) for inspections and document approvals
- Supervise preparation and submission of Final Dossiers for completed projects
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in Semi-Conductor industry
- Certifications required: CSWIP and NDT Level II or higher
- Strong understanding of international quality standards and welding procedures
- Experience with inspection processes, test plans, and third-party coordination
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team
