QA/QC Executive

Job Title: QA/QC Executive (Food Safety & ISO Compliance)
Location: Senoko (Repackaging Facility)
Employment Type: Full Time | Permanent

We are seeking a hands-on QA/QC Executive to join our ISO compliance team in a rice repackaging facility. This role requires a balance of supervisory responsibility and active involvement in daily operations, including manual packing oversight and supplier quality coordination.

As part of the ISO compliance team, you will ensure processes align with ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team Supervision

• Supervise production workers during rice repackaging operations to ensure quality standards are met.

• Oversee manual packing processes, ensuring correct weight, packaging integrity, and labelling compliance.

• Conduct on-the-job training for team members on GMP, food safety protocols, and proper handling procedures

Supplier Quality Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers on quality-related matters, including raw material specifications and incoming inspections

• Investigate and resolve quality issues or customer complaints.

Quality Control Testing

• Perform routine quality checks on incoming raw material, packaging materials, and finished goods

• Coordinate with suppliers for FSSC 22000 compliance as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing or repackaging environment

• Experience with ISO 22000 is highly preferred

• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Certifications

• HACCP certification.

• ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor certification is highly desirable.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety principles.

• Hands-on, physically fit, and willing to be actively involved on the production floor.

• Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and training team members.

• Meticulous, organized, and able to handle documentation accurately.
