Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Project Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan.
Ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, IS codes, and contract requirements.
Establish quality procedures, inspection checklists, and method statements for site activities.
Lead and manage the QA/QC team, including QA engineers and site inspectors.
Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and quality documentation.
Conduct stage-wise inspections for RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and structural works.
Monitor concrete quality through slump tests, cube testing, and laboratory coordination.
Verify material approvals, factory test certificates, and incoming material inspections.
Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams during inspections.
Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Maintain QA/QC records including MIRs, RFIs, test reports, and inspection reports.
Analyze quality trends and prepare weekly/monthly quality performance reports.
Provide quality training and toolbox sessions to engineers and site staff.
Ensure timely closure of client observations and handover quality documentation.
Requirements
B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
10–15+ years of experience in QA/QC for high-rise building or large civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, concrete technology, and finishing quality standards.
Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quality documentation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
