QA Technician

Performs in-process visual and dimensional inspection.• Conducts product testing to meet product specification and customer requirements.• Verifies and Interprets Spec Sheet and communicates with Product Design if there is a spec variation, or if SKU can’t achieve the tolerance required.• Approves or rejects product based on compliance to product specification, work instructions, product deviation, food safety, and customer requirements. • Adhere to and enforce standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and work instructions. • Performs pre-operational inspections and line clearance verification.• Ensure test results are recorded, are current, and are accurate. • Monitors and ensures test and inspection equipment is maintained in working order and reports damage to the Plant Manager and/or Quality Assurance Supervisor. • Initiate corrective actions when non-conformances are found. • Monitor raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.• In-puts testing and dimensional records on SQC database to produce work order reports.• Communicates with Production Supervisor, and Machine Operators when adjustments are needed, to improve form, fit or function.• Other duties as directed by Quality Manager/Supervisor or higher authority.
