QA Test Engineer - Manual

Job Description

• Perform manual testing on web applications to identify, document, and track defects.

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.

• Conduct API testing using Postman or other relevant testing tools.

• Collaborate closely with developers and the development team to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

• Proactively suggest new ideas and improvements to enhance the testing process and overall product quality.

• Assist the Line Manager with daily testing activities, progress updates, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

MUST HAVE

• 2 –3 years of experience in web application testing or software QA.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Solid knowledge of manual testing techniques and software testing principles.

• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or other relevant tools.

• Good command of Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively and document testing results clearly.

• Strong interest in software testing, with a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in end-to-end testing or API test automation.

• Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages used in test automation.

• Good time management, task prioritisation, and organisational skills.

• Familiarity with applying AI tools to software testing activities.
