Job Description

• Position Title: QC Inspector
• Working Location: East - MacPherson
• Working Hours: 5 days / Mon-Fri: 7am to 4.30pm (future PM: 1:30pm to 11:00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic up to $1,900 + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality control across the company’s operations by properly monitoring and recording processes, products, facilities, and the supply chain.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with FDA/GMP requirements and assist in establishing Quality System requirements for the Singapore facility.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements through internal and external audits, and review quality results against customer satisfaction, quality, and cost standards.
• Assist the Quality Manager in preparing monthly quality progress reports.
• Maintain the QC department and equipment in good working condition, and coordinate with external laboratories for product quality testing when required.
• Assist in maintaining hygiene programmes to support workplace safety and prevent product contamination.
• Record, compile, and report any quality non-conformance related to products, services, and processes.
• Ensure all documentation under the Quality Management System (QMS) is properly and accurately maintained.
• Assist with the documentation and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) received from internal departments or external parties.
• Monitor the calibration of all measuring equipment.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in compiling quality performance data for monthly management reviews.
• Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and docking audits.
• Monitor and ensure proper control of non-conforming materials and products.
• Maintain effective programmes for quality control, waste control, safety, general housekeeping, and corrective maintenance.
• Review and revise procedures and processes where necessary to improve quality assurance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Assist in achieving ISO certification and support regular audits after certification.
• Implement and document corrective and preventive actions arising from quality concerns.

• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related processes required for ISO certification based on existing production processes.
• Monitor upgrades to QC equipment, methods, and processes, and prepare new SOPs for new processes as required for ISO certification.
• Assist with hardware and technology transfer and setup. Attend relevant training provided on the processes and quality requirements for the new project.
• Assist in commissioning new equipment, machinery, processes, and capabilities.
