Quality Assurance Engineer Technician

TACG is based in Pendergrass, Georgia. This position is on-site at TACG 1000 Valentine industrial Parkway, Pendergrass GA 30657.

Department Purpose:

Quality assurance involves creating processes, protocols, and procedures designed to monitor, test, and inspect manufacturing processes. The goal is to ensure that production meets the specified requirements for each unit produced every time.

Position Purpose:

Support activities to strengthen associate skill level. Provide detailed investigation for Customer returns. Monitor SPC trends and provide feedback to related departments.

This position is on the B-shift (Sunday-Thursday 7:00PM - 3:30AM + Overtime)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• CMM Programming and Special Measurements
• Trainer for both A and B Shift QA Department
• Maintain and Track SPC for Lab Measurements
• Customer Return Investigation
• Ability to create technical reports from data retrieved from Customer Returns.
• Ability to collect analyze production records and line data as requested.
• Support Lab Daily Work
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications, Education, Experience, & Abilities:

• 3-5 Yrs. working experience in a Quality Lab Environment.
• Proficient with all Lab Measuring Equipment.
• Ability to develop and train Associates.
• Intermediate Computer and Microsoft Office Skills.

Technician & Senior Technician:

• High School graduate or GED and at least 2 years Toyota Industries Group experience preferred.
• Assist department team members on projects
• Successfully complete clerical and administrative duties and other assignments on time
• Support G&O’s activities of department staff

Physical Requirements

• The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
