Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting product quality, preparing inspection reports and coordinating with manufacturers, third-party inspection agencies, customers and contractors to ensure that quality requirements and project specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure products comply with applicable quality standards and project specifications.
  • Prepare, compile and maintain inspection reports and quality-related documentation.
  • Review and verify manufacturers’ quality and inspection data.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, customers, contractors and internal project teams on inspection and quality matters.
  • Monitor welding and fabrication quality in accordance with approved procedures and relevant standards.
  • Carry out or coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities where required.
  • Identify quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s quality management system.
  • Perform other quality assurance and inspection duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2 certification.
  • Relevant qualification in Welding Inspection, Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related discipline will be advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in quality inspection, welding inspection or machinery/manufacturing industries.
  • Good knowledge of welding processes, including SMAW, GTAW, MIG/MAG and other relevant welding processes.
  • Familiar with NDT techniques and inspection requirements.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise with customers, contractors, manufacturers and third-party inspection agencies.
  • Able to work independently and manage inspection and quality documentation effectively.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Rest Days

  • 8 days per month
