Quality Assurance Specialist

Under supervision of the Quality Manager, performs a variety of both routine and non-routine duties in accordance with specific instructions and established work procedures. Reviews processes, identify areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance quality. Some duties involve work of a confidential nature which requires knowledge of the company’s customers and pricing policies.

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines
• Identify and set quality assurance standards based on understanding customer expectations and industry requirements
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards
• Prepare and present reports and metrics related to quality assurance and compliance activities
• Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Assist in the development of training material for quality assurance and compliance staff
• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for quality improvement
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes good relations with customers, clients, co-workers and management
• Safety shoes (toe protection/slip resistant) and proper PPE must be always worn
