Quality Assurance Technician | $2800 to $3500 | Penjuru #5252

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming quality inspections according to control plans, engineering drawings and specifications

• Inspect incoming materials, components and parts to ensure they meet required quality standards

• Prepare and maintain accurate incoming inspection reports and records

• Assist in operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) systems and validate measurement programmes

• Conduct dimensional measurements and verify inspection results against specifications

• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues

• Follow up on supplier non-conformance actions and ensure corrective actions are properly addressed

• Conduct form, fit and functional checks and other inspections when required

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure inspection records are updated accurately

• Support the QA team in quality improvement activities and other assigned tasks

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the QA Lead or Manager

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field

• Candidates with relevant Nitec or Higher Nitec qualifications and suitable experience may also be considered

• Prior experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Incoming Quality Inspection or Engineering will be an advantage

• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and measurement techniques

• Experience with CMM or other dimensional measurement equipment will be an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Willing to learn and work in a manufacturing or engineering environment
