Quality Control Lab Technician

- Perform special projects as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Maintain focus on Quality Management System (LP-9000).
- Work closely with all management, administration and production personnel.
- Must be able to appropriately identify, document and dispose of nonconforming products.
- Have a clear understanding of all processes, including (but not limited to) product deficiencies, customer product returns, and their causes.
- Support the LP9000 Quality Management System Procedures including, but not limited to Corrective and Preventive Action, Internal Quality Audits, Product Identification and Traceability, Inspection and Testing, and Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment.
- Conduct Internal Quality Audits.
- Understand, follow and assist with training of the Quality Management System, Quality Plans, Work Instructions and System Procedures.
- Ensure any non-conforming product is controlled until the condition is corrected.
- Conform to all Quality and Safety requirements and procedures.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process.
- Perform machine and process capability studies as assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Perform Gauge Readability and Repeatability (Gauge R & R) studies as assigned by the Quality Manager.
