Job Summary:

This position supports the production of high-quality products through the implementation and maintenance of material and product testing, inspection, analysis, and reporting. As a Quality Control Technician, you'll help ensure every material and finished product meets our quality standards by performing inspections, documenting results, and working closely with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Verify: Perform inspections, testing, and evaluations of raw materials, in process products, and finished goods by following established quality procedures.
  • Collect and Report Data: Accurately record inspection results and quality data to support production decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support Product Certifications: Prepare product samples and documentation for submission to accreditation agencies while helping maintain compliance with quality requirements.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production personnel to inspect materials, collect data, and ensure products meet established specifications.
  • Communicate Quality Findings: Share inspection results and quality concerns with supervisors and team members so issues can be addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Problem Solve: Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to investigate quality concerns and contribute to practical solutions that improve products and processes.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a team environment.

  • Experience in quality control, manufacturing, production, or another detail focused environment.
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 is preferred, or a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC), or the ability to learn these concepts through training.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, or blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Quality certifications, such as ASQ, are a plus but are not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred

Schedule:

1st Shift (7:00am - 3:00pm, M-F)

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting pay for this position is $22.00 per hour. Employees are eligible for wage increases through a structured, tiered pay progression based on demonstrated proficiency, skill development, and successful completion of designated training and job responsibilities.
