Quality Coordinator

Summary

Coordinates quality processes for a clinical research organization, maintaining Q-Pulse and supporting audits and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment.

Established in 2020 through the merger of Auckland Clinical Studies (ACS) and Christchurch Clinical Studies Trust (CCST), NZCR is at the forefront of early-phase clinical research in New Zealand. With over 35 years of combined research excellence, we have successfully completed 750 trials involving 15,000 participants. The Role

Fixed Term 11 months, 20 hours per week

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Quality team to help ensure NZCR maintains the highest standards of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the administration and ongoing development of NZCR's electronic quality management system (Q-Pulse).
  • Assisting with document control activities, including maintaining and reviewing quality documents and SOPs.
  • Supporting internal, vendor, sponsor, and regulatory audits.
  • Monitoring non-compliances, CAPAs, and other quality-related activities to ensure timely follow-up.
  • Assisting with quality reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing administrative support to the Quality team, including meeting coordination and minute taking.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A genuine interest in quality systems and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience in a research, health, medical, laboratory, or regulated environment is desirable.
  • Experience with Q-Pulse or another electronic quality management system is desirable.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research regulations is desirable.
  • A qualification in science, health, or a related field is preferred.
