Quality Engineer (Tester) (Ref 26526)
Summary
Designs and runs software tests, builds automation scripts, and collaborates in Agile teams to validate applications before release.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute robust l test scenarios for SIT and UAT.
• Build and enhance test scripts aligned with project requirements and best practices
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories
• Perform requirement analysis and contribute to test strategy and automation approach
• Provide regular updates and effectively manage client and stakeholder expectations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Ensure automation coverage, stability, and continuous improvement of test assets
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Exposure in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven ability in client and stakeholder management
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and user story understanding
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
