Quality Inspector - Level IV

Job Summary:

Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications trains others and assists in process development. Works under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Verifies the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Trains others in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming product and documentation. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Assists in the development of new methods and procedures. Competencies:

Quality Process Management - Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.

Laboratory Management - Leads technical resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measure to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience, specialized skills obtained through education, training, and on-the-job experience.

It is necessary to possess multiple inspection skills of the factory quality inspection team, including IQC, OQC, process inspection, as well as metrology laboratory skills: part measurement, calibration, MSA and reference part production & management
