Quality Manager
- Develop the Project Quality Management Policy and Project Quality objectives in co-ordination with the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT)
- Develop the Project Quality Plan based on the Project scope of work and execution strategy and all other relevant Project specific procedures
- Develop and manage the QA/QC organization, the resource plan and department budget
- Prepare and implement the Project audit and monitoring program/schedule
- Prepare and implement QA/QC specifications as an integral requirement of the supplier’s/contractor’s scope of work
- Establish an improvement dashboard upon auditing/monitoring activities and monitor its effectiveness on a regular basis
- Provide support to ensure that a Project lessons learned process is implemented
- Establish Project QA/QC KPI’s and ensure regular performance reporting to key stakeholders
- Provide regular feedback to the IPMT and key stakeholders, including lessons learned
- Participate and provide advice and support during the EOI, ITT and Tender Evaluation processes
- Validate and approve the QMS to be implemented by the EPC contractors to ensure conformity during the execution of their scope of work
- Approval and implementation of Vendor’s and EPC Contractor’s QA/QC Plans and Inspection and Test Plans
- Establish and monitor the Quality load for shop surveillance and for site based QA/QC activities
- Manage interfaces with any out-sourced quality activities (e.g. TPI and Accreditation Service Providers etc)
- Participate in the close-out of EPC Contractor Purchase Orders and in the assessment of Vendor’s/Contractor’s performance
- Participate in Project performance reviews to capture QA/QC lessons learned for future business development and benchmarking purposes
- Lead investigations into specific QA/QC concerns and communicate the findings to key stakeholders

- Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions in the resolution of Quality issues
- Experience with contractors and suppliers and ability to manage related interfaces
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s degree in management or equivalent
- Minimum Twenty 20+ experience within the oil & gas sector, including PMC or EPC Quality Manager experience on large projects
- Good written and verbal communication skills
