Quantitative Developer
You will contribute to production trading systems, live operations, production tooling, deployment, operational safety, microstructure research, and data pipeline management. You will monitor and troubleshoot real-time systems, build automation and observability tools, collaborate on market research, deploy production systems, support users, and manage upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Own the reliability, observability, and operational performance of live trading systems
- Monitor live systems in real time
- Respond to production issues
- Investigate, mitigate, and resolve trading, risk, and system stability incidents
- Build internal tools, dashboards, alerts, and automation
- Design and maintain testing, deployment, rollout, and rollback processes
- Strengthen production safety through health checks, failover mechanisms, and operational controls
- Develop tools for market microstructure research
- Conduct full-cycle research, coding, testing, and production deployment
- Support end users and troubleshoot issues
- Manage system upgrades
Requirements
- 2+ years solving challenging problems through coding with measurable industry impact
- Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++
- Strong production engineering skills in Linux environments
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and observability tooling
- Ability to reason through quantitative problems
- Effective communication with quantitative researchers and engineers
- Reliable availability during trading hours
- Experience with compiled languages such as C++
- Familiarity with high-performance computing and distributed large-scale systems
