Quantitative Developer
Summary
Design and implement trading algorithms in Rust for a proprietary high-frequency trading platform, collaborating with trading and business teams to meet complex strategy requirements. The role focuses on low-level optimization, algorithm quality assurance, and maintaining existing systematic trading systems in a global fintech environment.
Responsibilities
- Given a high-level description of trading strategies, discuss all the related details with trading and business teams, and design trading algorithms to meet complex strategy requirements.
- Implement proposed algorithms in Rust using low-level optimization techniques and facilities of proprietary HFT-class trading platform.
- Ensure quality, reliability, and performance of developed algorithms using testing tools of the trading platform.
- Document implemented algorithms.
- Maintain and improve existing trading algorithms according to business needs and feedback.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, C# or other languages.
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning.
- Experience working with systematic trading strategies or high-frequency trading systems.
- Experience designing or implementing execution algorithms.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and curiosity about complex systems.
- Experience with Rust is not required, but you should be comfortable learning new technologies and working closely with the system level when needed.
Please note that only candidates with proven experience in algorithmic trading (MFT/HFT) will be considered.
