Quantity Surveyor (Civil Works) [SL]

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil construction works to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, contract administration and commercial matters to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and monitor project cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts.

• Evaluate subcontractors' quotations and claims, and provide recommendations to ensure competitive pricing and cost effectiveness.

• Carry out quantity measurements and prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.

• Assist in contract negotiations and manage contractual and commercial administration throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor project expenditure and implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget.

• Liaise with Project Managers, consultants, clients and subcontractors on contractual, financial and commercial matters.

• Identify potential cost variations and commercial risks, and provide recommendations to minimise project costs.

• Ensure all quantity surveying and contractual documentation is properly maintained and submitted within the required timelines.
