Quantity Surveyor (Marine Civil)

Summary

Oversee marine civil project budgets, procure materials, and manage contracts in Singapore, using cost estimation and procurement skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Source for quotation for materials and services
  • Prepare procurement documentation, subcontractor/supplier agreements, and payment recommendations
  • Evaluation of price comparison and prepare costing summary
  • Plan project cost, prepare estimations and carry out quantity measurements.
  • Manage claims, variation orders, budget & cost control
  • Prepare progress claims, and form subcontract agreements
  • Settle final accounts and ensure accurate documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date records for all project-related correspondence
  • Contracts administration and support contract-related processes
  • Handle contractual issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim


Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably experience in civil/ land reclamation projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong organizing and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a plus
