Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

· Prepare tender submissions,including quantity take-off, cost estimation, pricing and tender analysis.

· Review tender documents,specifications, and drawings.

· Conduct cost analysis andprovide cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

· Administer contracts inaccordance with contractual requirements.

· Source, evaluate and negotiatequotations from suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effectiveprocurement.

· Develop procurement strategiesand manage procurement activities.

· Prepare tender evaluationreports, recommendation papers, and contract documents.

· Prepare project budgets andmonitor project costs and expenditures.

· Prepare, submit and follow upon monthly progress claims with Clients.

· Prepare, negotiate, and manageVariation Orders (VO) with clients and subcontractors.

· Prepare and negotiate FinalAccounts with Clients and Subcontractors.

· Evaluate, process, and certifysubcontractors' payment claims.

· Negotiate and award subcontractpackages.

· Attend project meetings, sitemeetings, and tender interviews.

· Maintain proper projectdocumentation and contractual records.

· Assist the Project Manager andManagement in commercial and contractual matters.

· Prepare cost reports and cashflow forecasts for Management.

Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree inQuantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 3 years of relevantworking experience in Quantity Surveying.

· Experience in Interior Fit-out,Addition & Alteration (A&A), Commercial Renovation and Design &Build projects will be an advantage.

· Good understanding ofconstruction contracts, procurement, and cost control.

· Proficient in English.Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speakingclients, suppliers, and subcontractors where required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office,particularly Microsoft Excel.

· Familiarity with AutoCAD,Bluebeam, CostX or other QS software will be an advantage.

· Strong negotiation, analytical,and problem-solving skills.

· Responsible, meticulous,proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

· Singapore Citizens andSingapore Permanent Residents (PRs) are preferred as the Company is currentlyunable to sponsor S pass for this position.
