Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender submissions, quotations, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Perform quantity take-off, measurement, and pricing based on drawings and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
  • Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Review subcontractor claims and supplier invoices.
  • Maintain proper project documentation and cost records.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on commercial matters.
  • Attend project meetings when required.
  • Support Project Managers on cost control and contractual matters.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Good knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract administration.
  • Familiar with progress claims, variation orders, tendering, and final accounts.
  • Good understanding of construction contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and able to meet project deadlines.
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience (Min $3500)
