Quantity Surveyor
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare tender submissions, quotations, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform quantity take-off, measurement, and pricing based on drawings and specifications.
- Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and contractual requirements.
- Review subcontractor claims and supplier invoices.
- Maintain proper project documentation and cost records.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on commercial matters.
- Attend project meetings when required.
- Support Project Managers on cost control and contractual matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Good knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract administration.
- Familiar with progress claims, variation orders, tendering, and final accounts.
- Good understanding of construction contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous, responsible, and able to meet project deadlines.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience (Min $3500)
