Quantity Surveyor
- Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, cost planning, budgeting, and preparation of tender submissions
- Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), cost summaries, and tender documentation
- Liaise with designers and engineers for preparation and coordination of concept drawings
- Source, evaluate, and recommend subcontractors for approval by the Project Manager (PM) team
- Review tender documents, drawings, and awarded contracts against construction drawings
- Monitor tender and project progress, ensuring timely updates and tracking
- Carry out cost checks, comparative cost studies, and market trend analysis
- Analyse contractual scope of works and contract conditions
- Support review of commercial and contractual matters with the Project Manager
- Prepare quotations for variation works and assess contractual variations
- Certify, evaluate, and assess progress claims and payments for main contracts and subcontract works
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and recommend subcontractor payments
- Evaluate progress payments in accordance with contract terms and conditions
- Ensure project costs are monitored and controlled within approved budgets, and report potential cost overruns
- Produce quantity measurements and cost assessments within required timelines
- Assist in contract administration, including review and preparation of subcontract and supplier agreements
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award and execution of subcontractor and supplier packages
- Assist in monthly project budget reporting and updates for PM team
- Prepare and submit project close-out documentation upon completion
- Finalise subcontract and main contract final accounts
