R&D Engineer – Hardware Validation and Testing | eBike (f/m/div.)
Your contribution to something big:
- Develop, validate, and test electronic hardware for innovative eBike applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable products;
- Perform functional verification and characterization of printed circuit boards (PCBs);
- Conduct hands-on laboratory activities using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, climatic chambers, and soldering/rework equipment;
- Analyse analogue and digital signals, electronic circuits, and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and CAN to identify and resolve technical issues;
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve test setups, supporting test automation and data acquisition systems;
- Develop and optimize automated test solutions using tools such as LabVIEW and Python for automation, data acquisition, and post-processing;
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to support product validation and continuous improvement;
- Document validation activities, prepare technical reports, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams throughout the development process.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in electronic hardware validation, testing, or development;
- Experience working with PCB validation and laboratory measurements;
- Experience with electronic debugging and test automation is an advantage.
Know-how
- Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics;
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, climatic chambers, and soldering/rework tools;
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and CAN;
- Experience with LabVIEW and Python for test automation and data analysis;
- Understanding of electronic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis methodologies.
Languages
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
