R & D Engineer

Defining, implementing and/or maintaining R&D strategy, guidelines, systems and services for VISHAY Aligning and ensuring implementation of R&D budgets, monitors R&D programs, and allocates resources. Planning and coordinating, and/or implementing R&D projects and processes (i.e., technology research projects, product development programs). Leading identification and consolidation of R&D projects in line with technological trends and development plans. Coordinating research, development, and pre-industrialization of products. Representing VISHAY's R&D competence externally towards customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders. A job at this level… Selects and utilize precedents, methods, tools and procedural guidance given. Executes case-specific procedures to realize assigned steps in research projects (e. g. , set up tests or lab equipment, execute lab analytics according to specifications given, utilize specialized test machines). Supports researchers in solving issues and problems (e. g. , building and/or testing prototypes, calibrating, calculating, upscaling).
